How the Project Started
The USGenWeb® Project
was established in 1996 by a group of genealogists who shared
a desire to create free online resources for genealogical
research. Originally beginning with online directories of
text-based resources, their vision has grown into a network of
over 3,000 linked websites, all individually created and
maintained by a community of volunteers. Today, you may find a
variety of unique county and state resources including photos,
maps, transcriptions, historical documents, helpful links, and
much more.
County Coordinator
My name is Thomas
Bombaci, Jr. . I am
the coordinator for the NMGenWeb Lea County New Mexico web site. Submittals of
historical documents, photos, and just about anything genealogically related are always
welcome for publication in this website. Unfortunately,
I am unable to provide research services in Lea County.
To host a New Mexico county web site, please contact the NMGenWeb State Coordinator, Cheryl Burbank.
Look Up and Research Request
I am unable to do your
personal research. I do not live in Lea county and I do not have access to additional
records. If you do not see the information you are seeking in this site, I do not have
it, as everything I have is posted in this site.
