County Query. I'm looking for
information about William Charles Gibson. He was born in Lovington, NM about 1912. He earned his living as a laborer and ranch
hand. His wife, Helen was a cook on the ranches. I believe he may have moved around a lot. He supposedly died when he was hit by train (on foot or in a car?), in 1944
just a few weeks (days, months?) before his son was born in October 1944. His son was born in Wagon Mound but I
don't know where William was at this
time. I'm assuming he was in New Mexico, but don't know if he was in Wagon
Mound also. I can find no record of him
anywhere in NM and no newspaper story of
any train accidents in 1944. Also, his father may have been "John"
and his mother may have been "Margaret". Thanks for any info on him or his
family. Thanks, Elva Gibson. eagibson@cox.net
